That is my Holy Spirit assignment here, even if I help only one person per weekly post. “Bind up the brokenhearted” from Isaiah 61:1 is one of my life verses and one I stay with no matter what. I love your story and I am humbled by it. I love your relationship with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. So real, raw, and relatable. I love Isaiah 61. And Isaiah 53 where we read about "A Man of Sorrows and acquainted with grief..." That is so healing to read. We are not alone and we are SO LOVED...even in our own griefs and sorrows... It's always good to read your beautiful pieces from your beautiful heart, Wendy!
Delia, what a beautiful soul you have as well! I can see authenticity and a heart for God and His Son in you! I think it is important for all of us to realize that even when we follow God, we are not guaranteed a stress or trouble-free life. The world has been in terrible shape for centuries, because humans rebelled against God, self included. We have paid a terrible price. Just coming Home from being away from God for 35 years, that was enough to teach me, “don’t wander, just bring your sorrows directly to God, all day, every day.” I am a slow learner in some things…but I DO learn and so can all of us!
