This is special Wendy. A cautionary tale straight from lived experience.

Cori, thank you as always, for your kind and supportive words! People like you are one reason Substack and Notes thrives with me! I do not forget!! I also promise to somehow get a few photos on some of my posts. I have tried before to get photos from places like Unsplash, to upload to my laptop. Some do and some do not but they still will not cooperate once I get them uploaded…and I do not have a 12 year old to help me…I will keep stumbling until I get it! Blessings!!

Thanks for the encouragement to not yield to temptation. I had 51 yrs of very happy married life until death did us part. Now, loneliness is real. They say it's bad for your health. The cheap online love (lust) & sex are tempting. And even at 80 yrs old the devil hasn't given up - but neither have I. Let's watch & pray that we don’t give up when we're so near the goal.

Carl Sensenig, bless you! I am four months from 73 and I am familiar with loneliness. God, however, is excellent company. Fellowship with God and His Son is a foundation…and who knows, perhaps God has a special woman just for you? You are still breathing! Pray! Thank you for reading my work. Wendy

Thank you, Jan! I AM the blunt Oregon girl, after all…but from the vale of tears, unfortunately. Live and learn and I certainly did!
