"not carry the burden myself"

I keep forgetting. Thanks for the reminder!

Jan, thank you! It is SO easy to forget to not carry our burdens alone! We all need the reminder, myself at the head of the line. Thank you for reading my writing piece, I sincerely appreciate it. Blessings, Wendy

When you see beauty, you cannoy unsee it. God is beauty, reflected in all He has made, which Paul states in Romans 1. A hardened heart sees only ugliness and their whole body is full of darkness (Matthew 6). Keep going Wendy, God has much for you!

Thank you, Geoffrey! God is certainly good, to care for such a steeply emotional hurricane of a girl… but I am grateful beyond measure for His mercy. Bless you and yours, Wendy

Your words jump off the page as if dancing in a conversation with the reader. Well done. So good. Thanks. 😊

Donald, humble thanks for your kind comment to me! I always have a "conversational" style with my writing, as if I am sitting on the couch with someone and having a discussion. God talks to me in that same manner, what I call "flopping on the couch with Papa." I am blessed to be a part of the Substack community, especially fellowship with fellow Christians! Bless you! Wendy, this is Mary Hunt. I feel like an idiot. I didn’t realize when I made my chapter public, I had created a team as co authors. I removed your name, and the rest of my team, and deleted the chapter. Hopefully this has solved the problem

Mary, you did not have to delete your dear chapter! Things happen, no perfection is needed!!! Substack and Notes are a good place to get started and to just dive in, no matter what. I certainly did not need you to delete your work! Just re-publish your chapter and go forward. NO harm done whatsoever. I want you to write and write and write and just keep moving. I am far from perfect, I actually printed several paragraphs twice on a recent piece and once published, in desperation, I sent an apology to my entire subscriber list! I did not get any snarling in response and actually got a few very kind responses in return. Just take a deep breath, republish your chapter with yourself and forge on! Please! Bless you, you are not an idiot! Wendy

Thanks Wendy for your kind words. A few people read it so I received a little input. At this point, I think I will just wait for the cover, and publish it on Amazon kdp. I do better with typing things directly onto my dash board. Honestly that was terrifying. I invited so many people I hadn’t even spoken with to be a team of authors. I have debated about deleting this app, but I have met some very nice people on here.

Mary, do as you feel guided...but for me, no fail, no harm. Substack and Notes have elements of a genuine fellowship. For the record, I actually do not use the App! I have an older smart phone and do not want more apps on it, taking up memory. I go old school and simply go to the website from my phone or on my laptop. Even if you just simply hang out in Notes, reading people's writing, offering comments, you will begin to meet some very nice people here, like me! No perfection needed, remember that! Keep going, OK? Wendy

Wendy, I feel the same way as Donald about your writings. I lift my cup of coffee this morning and enjoy today’s “conversation” with you! Praying 🙏 for God’s Holy Spirit presence to lead you in your writings. 💜

Laura, thank you, that feeds my soul! I have long felt in the background of life, on the lower rungs of economic life and not empowered much. God chased me down for the 35 years of my Prodigal life and finally I returned and He is so graciously putting me back together, to be a conduit for His love to the brokenhearted. There are so many of us brokenhearted out there…and the fact that God came down into this human mess in the form of His Son Jesus Christ and gave His love and life for us, I cannot forget that kind of mercy. May God bless and guide your life as well and thank you for the prayers, they mean so much and that is why I ask for them each week with my current writing piece. Wendy
