Love the way you think and write and speak to God so freely and so feelingly (is that a word?)...and love how you hear His voice when He answers you. ♥️

Bless you, dear Delia! I have grown in my faith by simply “hanging out” with Papa God, His Son and Holy Spirit. Somehow, They do rub off on us!! It is a great gift, truly. David did the same thing in the Psalms, by having a royal rant before God and then repenting when he missed it. Works for me! Wendy

“Royal rant” - no pun intended, I take it! I love it.😁 I love the Psalms and the heart of David. What privilege we have in the Psalms to understand the heart of God bc really that's what David expressed so openly and passionately…and why the Bible says that “The LORD has sought for Himself a man after His own heart.” 1 Samuel 13:14 ♥️💯🙏

You nailed it. If more women ( and particularly young girls) knew what they were worth, they wouldn't act the way they do.

Thank you, Joan! I am never sure if I have “hit it” or not…typical writer’s stress…I appreciate your confirmation. Bless you, Wendy

Your words and candor are so refreshing in a world where everyone always wants to look perfect. Hey the human thing is a less. We need and have a loving Papa. Keep writing , even if it’s in the dark. It’s heart warming!

Humble thanks, Donald Schuler. I have to embrace my flawed, as that is my core self, blunt and flawed. No Instagram for me, no intimidating junk telling me I am not enough. Just living with the Refiner’s Fire is primal, and God does not miss one thing, does He?? I love Substack and Notes, I have amazingly found a fellowship and family on here, much to my surprise. It was Holy Spirit Who nudged me on here and told me to “write and pour out your heart with no holds barred.” Yep, that’s Holy Spirit, as scary as this is. Even if I often feel alone, I still have Papa, Y’shuah and Holy Spirit! I so appreciate your comments, they really feed my soul. Godspeed to you and yours, Donald, Wendy

So good, Wendy. On the other side of time ( as if we can even comprehend it, we will see the effects of our obedience and our words) He says His doesn’t go forth void. It accomplishes a purpose for which He has it sent. That’s comforting. Each human being is made in His image and has significance. We all have unique talents and abilities and are individual puzzle pieces. When we come together is when we see the big picture.

You are like a big sister and I’m quite sure others feel the same…😊 blessings always!

I hate it when I know God's right. And it's usually when I need to GROW!!! Like you, I've argued. But I'm learning it's easier to surrender (and only argue a little).

Arguing is certainly a tradition with some of us who follow God and His Son…He allows us the interchange…but He also asks us to also TRUST Him (oh, that…). Not easy to do, but the more I get to know Papa God, the more I see He is worthy of my trust…and I even begin to argue less. Go figure!!! Thank you for reading my writing, Jan! Blessings to you, Wendy

In a previous post you mentioned a friend at church who valued you a lot. Now if that mention is in any way related to this post I hope it will bring you future happiness to add to your current happiness. You do sound like someone who in public is dignified and smart and not needy or embarrassing so if God is putting someone in your life then after consideration I think it is well deserved.

Thank you for the thought on this, Jane! My friend at church is a dear Brother in Christ and the still-husband of my precious Sister in Christ and Mentor who went Home to Heaven in 2021. Her husband and my friend is just that, a dear friend, a Brother in Christ and not a love interest. It was difficult for me to write this piece, as the weekly pieces seem to be getting more difficult…I do follow what Holy Spirit asks me to write, as He knows things! I am certainly dignified and not needy…but God also knows how to catch me off-guard, as He did with His bombshell that He, on down the road, had a “special person for me” to consider! Not the right time yet and much to grow in. Blessings always, to you, Jane, a fellow deep thinker! Wendy

Had to chuckle a bit on this one, Wendy! God never stops using the vehicle of relationship or solitude to speak! Flare- now that speaks! I can see your response to God's whisperings. I thought we were friends! (He's always up to. . .your good!)

just mud by Ron, did I say something wrong, to imply we are not friends? I did react strongly to God’s words to me…solitary curmudgeon that I have been for so many years…Part of my reaction is pure, cold fear. Blending a life with someone at my age, not at all sure I can do it and I do not feel lovable. All conceptual right now, anyway, as I am focused 100% on doing the writing God called me to do. Anything more than that….we shall see…and I will be VERY surprised… I do sincerely and humbly always appreciate your comments, they are not surface stuff! Blessings to you and yours, Wendy
