Thank you, dear Hannah, for sharing one of my pieces with your friend. That night of unexpected and overwhelming prayer from fellow Substackers, was severald weeks ago in May 2024. I remain floored by the love of God and His Son that simply flowed through total strangers, except for our verbal connection here on Substack Notes. I just re-read my piece and just also played "Rock of Ages" hymn from 1763!!! That old music puts modern stuff to absolute shame. The lyrics are so moving and comforting and stark as well. We are all in God's awesome mercy over every single part of our life. While I still struggle with money issues every single day ( but NOT in debt, thank You Papa!), I take life one day at a time. Tell your friend I am humbly glad they were touched by my heartfelt writing! Also, listen to Rock of Ages! When you type in "hymn Rock of Ages", you will get a wonderful a capella version with full lyrics. Tears pour down my face every time I listen to it. Blessings and a hug, WEW
