Wendy, you are in a good place with your Papa teacher! Umh, this so resonates. Disclaimer here: I can be a goofy person. Check that box! ✅️ Conversely, I can be overwhelmed by the weightiness of things. I am sensitive and empathetic, but don't have great capacity for heavy things. Now my wife is that person. So we sort of counterbalance one another. We have waded and plunged through many seasons, been overwhelmed for sure. But I have found humor and comradery the thing that carries. And this is something we come to allow and make space for. An older sage of a man, an orator preached a message in my early adulthood, 'God digs wells of joy with spades of sorrow.' I couldn't appreciate it then but I'm still unpackaging that wisdom. Wendy, I lament those things you have had to endure, but so appreciate the glory coming on you now. That capacity is not wasted. Those wells are being refilled, daughter of the Most High.

just mud by Ron, thank you! You have an empath's depth of answering and I appreciate it. I like that phrase you spoke of, "God digs wells of joy with spades of sorrow." How utterly true that is. The Christian faith is not at all easy to follow...but after 35 years of my masterful stumbling around in the dark as a Prodigal, coming back Home was a relief, even though I still had a mess to clean up. Papa helps to clean up the mess but does not do the whole thing Himself, just as a good good Father would wisely do. I am so glad you have a wonderful wife to complement you. Having a Godly husband or wife is such a blessing, through the difficulties of this material realm. Godspeed to you both and thank you again for your wonderful comments, I truly am blessed by them. Sister Wendy E.,I think you have mentioned before of your Dad's idea that you might not be born but your Mums wish to allow you life. But reading it just now in the light of recent events in our British Parliament,it really struck me forcefully. Thank God you were meant to be. Its horrible what happened to you,if your Mum has not been so quickly taken your life might have been very different. But maybe you were meant to have those experiences in order to be who you are now with your mission. I am going through darkness at the moment but I believe that God doesn't always helicopter us out of trouble. This is why I can't accept the sort of pink fluffy Jesus that gays and others of depraved lifestyles claim. Jesus is all about LURVE,we are all about LURVE. No,I don't think so. God is I feel terrible and scary. The shepherds when they saw the Hosts of Heaven in the skies didn't go," oh cool,a light show" get out the cola and popcorn, they hid, they lay prostrate, they were terrified. They respected the awesome ineffable reality. This is still your Papa God. You've worked hard to build that relationship. I do ramble on. If I'm struggling on a rocky path I don't believe God isn't with me but he's like the parent who lets go of the bike but the four year old hasnt cottoned on yet. I've had bad times and good times in my life,God gives and takes away.

Jane, you have a depth that is powerful. All I have done for 7 1/2 years of my current Christian walk since 2017, is to simply "hang out" with Papa God, His Son and Holy Spirit. Just as King David did in the Psalms, sometimes I have a rant about my troubles, sometimes I just sit and listen and write down what God tells me. Either way, I absorb His goodness. For me, God is a combination of scary and immense love and mercy. He knows things we do not and He does ask us to REPENT and to turn away from sinful behavior. He does offer such mercy even when we miss things and fail....but it is His love that keeps us going. A totally dour and mean God would not help people, we also need His mercy when we fail. I spent 35 years of failing, apart from God. At some point, yes, there will be judgment. Yes, I endured some difficult times, but truly, who does not in this fallen world? I kept on, as you have also kept on. One single day at a time, one fellowship with God and one day of learning and growing. Keep on, Jane, and I will, too! Wendy

Morning I love this Wendy. Maybe you could write an occasional piece about funny things you saw or did throughout your life. It might not be obvious to my readers but I had no idea I was funny until I started writing here. The Lord works in mysterious ways.🙏🍄✨
